Dr. Simeon Melaku is board-certified in family medicine and obesity medicine. His work centers on metabolic health, with an emphasis on identifying early dysfunction and intervening before chronic disease progression. Dr. Melaku has worked in the area of primary care since 2020 and previously served as a primary care provider within the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville. He also received CME training at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Mass., to treat musculoskeletal concerns using ultrasound-guided procedures.
