• Tanya

  My name is Tanya Glenn, and my husband, Jason, and I are the proud owners of The Goddard School located in Rockwall. We live in the local community and our two children, Madison and Champion, attend Rockwall ISD schools. Our relationship with The Goddard School began when we first enrolled Madison in the Toddler classroom. After a long search for the perfect school for our little one, we finally found The Goddard School and even though it was a bit of a drive, it was worth it for the education and socialization that The Goddard School provided. Years later, Champion also attended The Goddard School. Now both of our children are exceling at school, and we believe strongly that the foundation that both received from The Goddard School set them up for success. As parents, we experienced firsthand what an amazing school like this can do for our children, our community, and for helping to develop strong future leaders. That is why we wanted to bring The Goddard School to Rockwall.

• Lexi

  "Hi, my name is Ms. Lexi, and I'm the Director at The Goddard School of Rockwall! I've been working with children for 7+ years, and I have extensive experience in the childcare industry, working at multiple childcare facilities for 5+ years. I started out as a Lead Teacher when our school first opened, and I have recently taken on this new leadership role! This role allows me to assist in the hands-on training of new and current educators on our team. I'm so happy I get to work with both the teachers and the students at the same time! I love seeing the children light up with excitement when they learn something new and watch teachers accomplish their goals. One of my professional goals here at Goddard is to have a positive impact on our education program! Here are some fun facts about me: In my free time, I enjoy shopping and playing with her cats, Ms. Kitty and Luna. My favorite children’s book is “Pinkalicious” by Victoria & Elizabeth Kann."

• Kayla

  Hello, my name is Ms. Kayla and I am the Education Coordinator for The Goddard School of Rockwall! I have ten years of experience working with children in early childhood education and I have loved every moment of it. They are the light to a brighter future and being part of that journey is a blessing. As education coordinator, I strive to create and engaging and loving space for your child to learn. I want The Goddard School to be where our students gain their lifelong love of learning. Outside of school some of my hobbies include sewing, reading, and hiking!

• Amber

  We are so lucky to have Ms. Amber on our team of teachers, Ms. Amber has been working in the childcare field for over 4 years and has worked previously at a Goddard school in another state. Ms. Amber is dedicated to providing her students with the best care and education possible which is why she has completed her Child Development Associate. When asked what she loves the most about working in early childhood education she said “ I love the relationships I build with both children and their families. Learning all the things that spark my students interest and enhancing/expanding on my lessons to include those interests. Watching them have fun learning about things they like.” In her free time Ms. Amber enjoys spending time with her sons going to parks, museums, aquariums and more! Her favorite children’s book is “Oh The Places You'll Go” by Dr Suess! We know that Ms. Amber is such a great asset to our team and she is going to be a great teacher to all of her students!

• A'shia

  Hello, My name is Ms. A’shia and I am the Lead teacher in Preschool 1! I have been working with children for 9 years now. I go to University of North Texas and I am studying Kinesiology to become a Physical Therapist. I enjoy working with children because one of the best things to be a part of to me is watching them grow and become amazing individuals. I love that I can make an impact on the children’s learning journey no matter if it’s big or small! In my spare time I like to spend time with family and friends, journaling, traveling and watching movies/tv shows.

• Brooklyn

  Hello, my name is Ms. Brooklyn, and I am the Lead Toddler Teacher here at Goddard! I have worked with kids for about three years now, working with ages 1-3. I love doing arts and crafts with the students and showing fun new ways they can learn through creative activities. My goal is to create a safe structured learning environment where children can grow in the classroom. I'm excited to build new relationships with my students and Toddler families! Some fun facts about me are that I enjoy art, reading, and babysitting my nieces and nephews. My favorite children’s book are the Mr. Pigeon books.

• Chloe

  We are so excited to have Ms. Chloe on our team! Ms. Chloe has been working in the childcare field for over 10 years now. She previously worked at another Goddard School where she worked in their toddler classroom. She has a special place in her heart for that age group and when asked why she said “I love how excited they are to learn and experience new things, I also love being able to watch them meet their developmental milestones.” In her free time she enjoys baking, reading books, and cooking. Ms. Chloe's favorite children’s book is “Giraffes Can’t Dance” by Giles Andreae. We are so happy to be able to watch her grow with us!

• Christa

  We are so grateful to have Ms. Christa on our team of teachers, Ms. Christa has been working in childcare since 2017 as a nanny for local families. She is excited to start a new chapter in her career teaching in a classroom setting here at our school. Ms. Christa attends Arizona State University in pursuit of her bachelors degree. When asked what she enjoys the most about working with children she said “getting to see the smiles on their faces when they are learning something new.” In her free time Ms. Christa enjoys paddle boarding with her husband and spending time with her family. Her favorite children's book is “Goodnight Moon” by Margaret Wise Brown. We are so excited to see all of the great things we know Ms. Christa will do for all her students.

• Christy

  We are so blessed to have Ms. Christy working with us. Ms. Christy has been working with children for six years, she worked at a Goddard School in Colorado she fulfilled many roles while working there teaching multiple age groups as well as filling in as a temporary assistant director. When asked about what she loves the most about working with children she said, “watching them reach different developmental milestones, and seeing their excitement for learning”. Ms. Christy describes herself as being a positive soul that is laid back and enjoys the little things in life. In her free time, she enjoys reading, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Ms. Christy's favorite children’s book is “To Give a Mouse a Cookie” by Laura Numeroff. We are so happy to have her as part of our team!

• Franche

  Hi! My name is Ms. Shay. I have over 8 years of experience working in childcare, including Pre-K classrooms. In my free time, I love hanging out with my daughter and having fun dance parties together. My goal is to make sure every child I meet feels safe, seen, and welcomed each day. I’m excited to learn and grow with your little one this year!

• Haley

  We are so grateful to have Ms. Haley on our team of Toddler teachers! Ms. Haley has been working in childcare since 2022 at various child care centers. She is excited to start a new chapter in her career at Goddard Rockwall. In her free time, Ms. Haley enjoys baking and spending time with her dogs, Daisy & Loki. Her favorite children's book is “I Love You Forever” by Robert Munsch. We are excited to see all of the great things we know Ms. Haley will do for her students in Young Toddlers!

• Jana

  We are so happy to have Ms. Jana on our team of teachers! She has been working in the childcare field for over six years, and she has worked with children of all ages. When asked what she enjoys the most about working with children she said “I enjoy helping them grow and figure out what they enjoy doing and what they are good at, children really just bring so much joy to anyone they are around.” In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends. One of her goals here at Goddard is to learn, grow, and rise through our ranks to become a lead teacher. Ms. Jana’s favorite children's book is “The Rainbow Fish” by Marcus Pfister.

• Jennifer

  We are so lucky to have Ms. Jennifer on our team of teachers, Ms. Jennifer has been working in childcare for over 2 years now and has her bachelors in Child Development and Family Studies. When asked why she enjoys working with children she said “I feel a sense of fulfillment in being able to work one-on-one with each kid and providing them with quality care. I know that this is necessary for healthy growth and a bright future.” In her free time Ms. Jennifer enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her family, and painting with her cousins. Ms. Jennifer’s favorite children’s books are the “No David!” series by David Shannon. We know that Ms. Jennifer is a great addition to our team and is going to be an amazing teacher for all of her students!

  Hi, I’m Ms. Jen! I'm excited to be the Lead Teacher in Accelerated Preschool! I have been working in early childhood education for about 6 years. My goal as a preschool teacher is to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, and academically. Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my fur babies!

• Saniya

  We are so excited to have Ms. Saniya on our team of teachers. She has been with our school for two and a half years now and has shown us consistently what a phenomenal teacher she is. When asked what she enjoys the most about working with children she said “ I love watching them grow and learn new things” In her free time Ms. Saniya enjoys baking, watching movies and hanging out with family and friends. Her favorite children’s book is “Pinkalicious” by Victoria Kann. We are so grateful to see how much Saniya has grown in her career with us. Her students absolutely love her, and so do we!

  Hello! My name is Grace, and I'm excited for my new adventure as the Assistant Teacher for the Infant classroom! I’ve always worked with kids from a young age. As an older sister from a big family, I have always looked after my siblings and worked a few nannying jobs. My favorite age to work with is infants and toddlers! In my free time, I love to relax and watch movies with family and friends! When I was young, my favorite children's book was "Where The Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein.

• Kate

  Hi, my name is Ms. Kate and I have been working in childcare for almost a year now. I have two years of intern experience with FTI (Future Teacher Internships) which has helped me explore the teaching profession. My time as an intern helped me discover my love of teaching and helped me decide to continue on the path of childcare. I am working towards my bachelor's degree in early childhood education in hopes of becoming a kindergarten teacher in the future. In my free time I love to read and love spending time with friends and family.

• Kayla

  Hi, My name is Kayla and I have been working with children for about 15 years, starting on an Air Force base in Japan! I have worked with infant to two's in a many different places, most recently in the DC area. I love watching children grow and learn, especially watching their personalities develop! I love to do science projects with them and anything creative. In my free time I like to write, watch tv, and hang out with my husband and three cats.

• Rose

  Rose has worked with children for over 10 years, as a nanny as well as through volunteer work in her local nursery. She loves playing a part in the lives of children and loves how things that may be seemingly small can create a long-lasting positive impact in their lives. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, volunteering, watching hockey games, and listening to music. Some of her favorite children's books are Nana Upstairs by Tommi DePaula, the Ramona Quimby series by Beverly Cleary, and anything by Roald Dahl.

• Summer

  Hello! My name is Summer, and I’m so excited to be part of the Pre-K classroom here at The Goddard School. I have two wonderful daughters, ages 10 and 5, who are my biggest blessing and inspire me every day. Before joining the Goddard team, I worked as a Youth and Program Assistant at a School-Age Care program on an Air Force base in Okinawa, Japan. That experience deepened my love for working with children and helping them grow in a fun and supportive environment. In my free time, I enjoy drawing and coloring, watching movies, and cooking for my family. I’m so happy to be part of this amazing team and to help our little learners get ready for kindergarten!

• Sofia

  Hi, my name is Sofia! I’m so excited to be part of the First Steps class as a Resource Teacher. While this is my first year in childcare, I have previous experience teaching music lessons to children of all ages. Watching children grow, explore, and build confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, baking, working out, and playing guitar. I’m truly grateful to be part of your child’s early learning journey and can’t wait for a fun, loving, and supportive year together!

  Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am a Resource teacher at Goddard! I graduated with a degree in Marketing at the University of North Texas. I am so happy to be here and starting my journey working with children. Everyday I am learning more about how children grow and develop over time. I want to grow as a caregiver and make sure that all of our students are thriving here at school. In my spare time I like to produce music, read, watch shows, and spend time with my family!

  Hello! My name is Verania, and I’m excited to be a Resource Teacher here at The Goddard School of Rockwall. Although this is my first year working professionally in early childhood education, I bring valuable personal experience as a mother of two and a deep passion for supporting young learners. Watching children grow, explore, and develop has always inspired me. As a parent, I’ve learned just how important love, patience, and consistency are in helping children thrive. I believe that building strong, caring relationships with each child lays the foundation for meaningful learning and healthy development.
